Dear Editor,
Something is happening in Student Government.
In two days, Student Body President John Barnes attacked the leadership of the Legislative and Judicial Branches. He accused members of the Legislative Cabinet of corruption, bitterness and called them “evil-doers.” Early morning Sept. 17 in a judicial hearing, Barnes stood up and attacked the Associate Chief Justice, calling her a corrupt bully. This Justice is a 17-year-old, and she is far from a corrupt bully.
During Barnes’ unprovoked speech, the Chief Justice asked Barnes to leave the chambers. He would not comply, and when the Chief Justice demanded Barnes leave the chambers for his behavior, Barnes threatened to file non-compliance on the Chief Justice.
For what, keeping order during the Chief Justice’s meeting?
This same man recently appointed his girlfriend as well as his fraternity brothers as assistant directors to executive agencies and executive positions. Barnes is now the only person who has the authority to fire them. In the military, this is called fraternization and is strictly forbidden.
Students, you can end this. You as a body are stronger than anyone in SG.
Show Barnes his fear tactics will not be tolerated in the upcoming SG elections. Tell him the only legacy he will leave is one of defeat.

Seems like a punk to me! Most of the Sg presidents act cool, while they are fools.
17-year-old girl? Who does that? I keep hearing so much about this guy and he makes me feel guilty and ashamed to tell people that I supported him. What a coward.
