On- and off -campus restaurant inspection violations

14 January 2009

The recent inspections for on-campus dining facilities show each is up to par, passing with minimal violations at each location. The inspections are conducted by the Duval County Health Department and usually done once per semester.

Chartwells oversees the maintenance of on-campus facilities except the Arena, and it does its own inspections separate from the DCHD, said Korey Konopasek, director of operations for Chartwells.

With UNF Ozzie Bucks extending to restaurants close to campus, the Spinnaker also gathered details of their latest inspections, conducted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
