Truck hits, injures student at Fountains crosswalk

Police, emergency vehicles and students crowded around the crosswalk connecting Osprey Fountains to Osprey Hall; a student lay on the ground, having been apparently hit by a truck around 5:30 p.m.
The ambulance took the student away to an unknown hospital while police directed traffic.
Police and the driver of the truck refused to comment. Pictures and details to come.
