I was excited about transfering to UNF for my junior year. Then, I looked at my tuition statement and noticed how much I was getting ripped off. Seriously!? I’m with Jimmy. I came here for an education. Between this wellness center and the atheletic fee, I think UNF is a joke. Sad, and I start in August. Nickle and dime the students for something half of us will not use.

This is amazing! Our fitness center now is not competitive with other Universities, and now a day many students focus on the overall health factor of attending college. To comment back to the post above, students here do care about their education and I am sure if this center is built the students majoring in sports medicines, and other fitness related fields are going to benefit from having a state of the art Wellness Center!
I personally am proud of the Student Government for such a large proposal now it is just implementing it.

Whatever happened to the idea of college as a place to receive an education?

Where are the stories regarding more teachers, smaller class sizes, more online classes, and more room classes offered? Oh yeah, I forgot, there are more important things – like this wellness center…
