About Radio
Osprey Radio is the University of North Florida’s student-run radio station that is funded by Student Government and sponsorships from the local community. Osprey Radio began in 1993 and continues to expand its services for the students on campus and the university community.
Osprey Radio offers a unique opportunity for students to learn about the radio and broadcasting industry in a fun and professional environment. Students on campus produce all of the shows heard on Osprey Radio. The format is a college/indie rock but students still have flexibility with the music they play and are able to express themselves creatively.
The radio station can reach anyone in the world online at www.ospreyradio.com. It also reaches students on campus through the campus cable network on channel 82. Osprey Radio is working toward a low-powered FM frequency so it can reach even more people.
Osprey Radio aims to create a cutting-edge, informative and fun radio station that can be a staple in the college community. With dedication and innovation, Osprey Radio continues to grow and make an impact in the UNF community.
