UNF adds women’s golf to athletics

UNF Athletic Director Lee Moon announced the addition of division 1 women’s golf. UNF now has 18 varsity sports in the athletic program. Moon believes this is the perfect time to add women’s golf because of the success and attention the men’s program is receiving.

The new golf program will kick off for the 2012-2013 season, and the search for a head coach will begin in the spring of 2011. The year 2011 will host the programs recruiting, scheduling and player development.
