The Florida College Press Association announced the winners of the 2007 Better College Newspaper Contest Sept. 5. The contest was judged by active and former editors, publishers and photographers affiliated with the Florida Press Association.

The Spinnaker received second in four categories: Best College Newspaper, Best General News Writing, Best Front Page Design and Best Photography. Spinnaker photo editor Harris Zeliff’s work was submitted for the award.
